The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Charity Committee, Inc., in partnership with Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona, is hosting the 4th Annual Motorcycle Skills Challenge October 31st through November 3rd, 2018. Our goal is to bring motorcycle law enforcement officers, both local and abroad, together to train and become more proficient in the safe operation of their duty motorcycle. This event also affords participants an opportunity to both network and share information relevant to the training process as well as any emerging trends or technologies. Certified police motorcycle instructors will be on site to help facilitate this process. This event’s goal is to raise money for two charities: the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch and the Volusia Sheriff’s Youth Foundation. The Mission of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is to prevent delinquency and develop strong, lawful, resilient, and productive citizens who will make a positive contribution to our communities through various residential care and community services to at-risk youth. The Volusia Sheriff’s Youth Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit created in 1995 to support the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and their efforts to inspire and empower the youth in our community.
